Final Task
unfortunately, this is all i have of my final film. Due to the coronavirus, and the orders given by the government I was unable to continue to shoot, as the shots I had planned took place outside, and changing that meant changing the whole movie from scratch so I was really disappointed. Additionally, the only way I could edit was from the school computer, and I no longer had access to that so it meant that this cut that I have here was going to have to be the final one. I am really disappointed because I really wanted to see it come to fruition, but things don't always go the way we hoped. I learned a lot in this class, and it was enjoyable while it lasted.
CCR Final Task
In this CCR i speak about the final task, as well as how I have grown throughout the class. I speak about conventions, production, and tech.

Music Video
This was the music video I did after the commercial. This was done in a group with three other people. I learned a lot while making this and it was a very fun experience. I learned how to better coordinate and shoot a film, and it was great.

Commercial
This was the first task of the year. I have blogged about it before in the past but this is the finished product. It was both easy and a challenge. It was my first time doing anything of the sort, and I was doing it by myself. I learned a lot from this, maybe not while making it, but definitely after. It taught me about the actual process of filming and editing, and I believe I further improved during the rest of the year.

Filming Some More
I had a small shoot this time. I only shot like one or two scenes. I did not have much time this week to shoot more. I had very important things to do so my schedule did not align to shoot. I am mostly done, but still have to shoot some scenes. I headed out today and started shooting. It was fun and quick. I got doen fast and headed back home. It was good that I finished when I did, because the camera died right afterward. I took the footage, and downloaded it onto my computer.
This has been a very interesting experience. I am not done yet but it has been quite fulfilling already. With all that I have learned I feel I have improved quite a lot.I was very worried at the beginning but now I do not feel that way. I was nervous about working alone and it has been hard but I am proud of my work. i have just two more scenes left to shoot, and very little work left. It is comin along, and I cant wait to be done. Once I finish the main shoots and do more reshoots, it will look great.
I still have to edit the new shots and make sure it works. I am ready to be done with this.

Editing Continues
I continued to edit my project. I had made progress before, but I had more things to shoot and edit. The things I had edited were the non-talking scenes. They are mostly finished, but needed to be looked over again. They were mostly fine, but I would like to re-shoot some of them. Some of the ones I originally filmed were done in another location. I plan to do the re-shoots later. All my footage from before looked fine. I had to start adding titles. I followed the layout I had set out in my storyboard.
The new footage was the one with dialogue. I put it into the the editing software. I put them into the correct order. I cut them down into the right length. Finally, I made sure the volume and lighting looked correct and edited accordingly. It looks right at the moment. I finished editing for now and looked at the movie as a whole. For what I have right now it looks pretty good. I am unhappy with just a few things that I am going to have to re-shoot. Of course, I have things that I have not even shot at all, and plan to do so before starting my re-shoots.

Peer Review
We did a peer review in class for our classmates. We walked in the classroom and checked who our partner was who we had to review. Mine was Victoria. We sat down and she gave me her film to watch. She played and I watched it all the way through once without taking notes. I then watched it again while taking notes. I observed her film carefully, looking for what was necessary. I thought it was coming along great and looked really great. She told me she needed to add a couple of things, and edit, but it was really good so far. After that I asked her a couple more questions about her project so far.
I then did the peer review sheet that we grabbed once we got into the classroom. It asked general questions about the contents of the film so far. It asked if it had a coherent story. It asked to identify and look for titles present in the film. It asked about lighting and if it looked good in the film. It asked about several angles and shots that we are supposed to have. She had most of them, and planned to incorporate the other later on in the process. We were asked what we liked about the film. And finally we were asked to make a suggestion to them.
